Well, it has been a while since I have done one of these posts I’m hoping to start posting more progress updates now that it is summer and I have more things to make progress on. For the time being take a peek at the first development screenshots of the Unreal Tournament map, I am working on.

Too… much… plugging!!! But the pony itself is looking pretty much how I want it to! Yay! Now I just need to do that thing with the ponies… and the other thing with the other pony… and the thing with the paper and the pen… I have too many projects.
Also… WHAT IS WRONG WITH HER UPPER LIP!?!? Ponies don’t bray!

Today was slow.
I woke up at 11 after having a dream about some kind of sci-fi war… I have crazy dreams now. It has started recently where I just have these really long vivid dreams. It’s kinda weird.
Anyways aside from that today was Thanksgiving so I spent the day cleaning the house and waiting for people to come over for dinner. Dinner was good!
And now I’m just playing with the pony rig from CreatorofPony. I did find a bug in the Renderman for Blender addon which I reported. It did some weird thing where when you converted a node tree from Cycles it uses the wrong node… I hope somebody who will eventually be reading this knows what that means.
Welp, back to talking to a friend I haven’t talked to in ages!

The results after going through and modeling the hair for each tunnel snake, using the Renderman Hair material I designed yesterday, and a bit of post processing in Gimp; I finished AppleJack’s mane mockup. I personally think it looks pretty good!
What do you guys think?
The latest experiments with some hair. I got the shader working pretty much how I want. I just need to find a way to shape it properly.
I finished my first major blender project, after about a week of work. I don’t think it turned out that bad… now back to playing with skin shaders and learning more architecture modeling skills and techniques.
